What is Immuno-Lfr™?
IMMUNO-Lfr is a type of lactoferrin — a nutrient found in mammalian milk that binds iron and is transferred through a variety of receptors. It has important immunological properties, as well as antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, anti-inflammatory and anti-carcinogenic activity.
Immuno-Lfr is an iron-binding protein that helps regulate iron levels in the body. Iron is essential for oxygen transport, energy production and DNA synthesis, yet excess iron produces free radicals that damage cells. Lactoferrin keeps that balance.
One of its most important roles is in the immune system: lactoferrin binds harmful bacteria and viruses and prevents them from multiplying, while its anti-inflammatory properties reduce inflammation and promote healing.
